At first, when I saw Evening Star the first time, I didn't recognize Marion Ross at all. I thought she did a much better job than the original Rosie character. Including Shirley MacLaine herself. I didn't recognize her because of the weight gain. Marion Ross certainly should have gotten for best supporting actress.

She was that good.
