Just ran across this while looking for Saved By the Bell stuff online. Isaac Lidsky, who was "Weasel" on Saved By the Bell: The New Class, will now be working as a US Supreme Court clerk, for former Justice Sandra Day O'Connor.
As you probably know, she was the first female Justice, appointed by President Reagan in 1981. And now Isaac Lidsky will be the first blind Supreme Court clerk. I didn't realize this until I saw the article, but apparently he has a disease that has caused him to go blind later in life. I'm sorry to hear that, but I'm glad to see that he is not letting it get him down and is making great achievements. Way to go! :)

I remember him well - I didn't know that he became blind later on in life, but am happy that he got himself a good education and a wonderful career. How awesome is that?? :clap

Good for him! I remember a year or two ago reading that he had that illness and would go blind one day. I'm sorry to hear that it's happened, but at least he hasn't limited himself or feels sorry for himself. He's got himself a great job. In fact, he may be the most successful person from "The New Class", lol.

I wish there was a picture of him. I'm curious to see what he looks like today.

I'd also to point out that even though Weasel was technically a Screeh rip-off, he was probably my favorite of the first season cast. And when I went into the second season, even though I liked the second season more than the first, Weasel was the one character I really missed.

Thank you!

Weasel's all grown up. And he doesn't seem to be down that he's blind. Which is a good thing. No need to be negative, even though I personally don't know if I could be positive about it.

Oh no! He actually lost full sight after all. I remember an article that talked about him gradually going blind and wanting to pursue a career in law. He still had his sight at the time. I guess that time has passed since that article came out. I apologize guys, but my heart seriously goes out to this dude. I grew up with the kid on TV and remember him when he was taking calls on a pledge a thon that Nickelodeon had back in 1994 after his stint on "Bell". I wish this individual nothing but the best.
