Erm the title is self explanatory I think.
1. Guest Judges Medley (Season 3 Finale)
Love the coordination of colors in everyones yellow and white outfits. I really can't explain why this is my favorite medley ever. Everyone definitely sounds great, even some people who sucked during the season like JOHN STEVENS. Omg he sounds incredible during this medley, probably because he sings in his big band style. I also really like Matt Rogers in this... he's so funny.. "Shake it girl, shake it!" :lol:
2. Beach Boys Medley (Season 4 Finale)
Okay minus Scott Savol's WAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYY OFF solo, which is probably the worst thing ever sung on the American Idol stage in all of American Idol history, I love this. Everyone sounds so good once again but the people who stand out the most to me are Vonzell, Anthony, and Constantine who does in this what he does best... works the camera!
3. Elvis Medley (Season 5 - Top 4)
I don't care for Kat in this and Taylor's dancing is kinda awkward, but I absolutely LOVE Elliott and Chris. Both of them prove that they were definitely the best male singers of AI5. Elliott's solo at the beginning sounds incredible... I think he could have actually done reaaally well if he tried one of Elvis's more dance-ish type songs on Elvis night.
4. Burt Bacharach Medley (Season 5 Finale)
I really love Taylor's version of "What the World Needs Now." When he wasn't being a manic crazy dancing fool, he actually sounds really good. I like Ace and Melissa's duet too...only because I feel like Melissa had potential to be good but just picked the wrong songs, which is why she was eliminated so early. Kellie is cute with "I'll Never Love Again." Bucky's "Raindrops are Fallin on my Head" is awkward haha but not that bad. Mandisa typically belts out some huge notes and sounds wonderful. But the two best parts IMO are Kevin Covais singing "What's New Pussycat" and Elliott's "A House is Not a Home." What's New Pussycat is just so cute and slightly awkward because everything about Covais is awkward :lol: but he actually sounds really good in it IMO. I think he should have waited a few years to try out for idol because he had some potential. And as for Elliott, his solo totallllyyyyy is the best vocal of the entire performance.
5. American Bandstand (Season 1 - Top 6)
Ha probably the only group performance I like of Season 1. It's just a really fun song and was very entertaining.
