The idea is to post about something that most people thought was never on Brady Bunch and then post the episode title it appeared on.

Examples to follow.

Then how the hell did he get his pants off? I sure as heck cannot take off my pants WITHOUT FIRST taking off my shoes.

I've done it many a time!

Plus it answered that burning question in all our minds--boxers or briefs?

I did that a few times when I was about that age. It is difficult (and kind of stupid!) but not impossible.

Of course, he could have removed his shoes and then put them back on, that would have been equally stupid but maybe child labor laws didn't let him walk around the set barefoot/sockfooted

Well if I remember, those pants he wore were not very large at the bottom, so I can't imagine how he would have taken them off. Eventually the shoes would impede that.

As for shoes, there had to be moments when the kids were seen barefooted.

I took bluejeans off while wearing tennis shoes.

I can't think of any time they were actually walking around barefoot.

A cat on the back porch. Eenie, Meenie, Mommy, Daddy

This mysterious cat sitting on a chair grooming was never explained in the plot. We can only guess that it wasn't actually supposed to be there.

[oops, had wrong episode!]

Bobby and Cindy were about to go skinny-dipping in one episode and when they opened their robes, Alice saw everything! Was that only on dvd? I don't remember it on TVLand.

The thing I always wondered about that episode was why they didn't just wear their bathing suits over there and take them off once they got there. That would seem to make more sense than trying to disguise their nakedness under robes!

But then again, we wouldn't have had the pleasure of seeing Alice's face at the sight of seeing both Bobby and Cindy au naturel

Ever notice how careful they were about reflective surfaces in that episode?

Cindy with straight hair? Snooperstar

Well, sort of. Toward the end of the final season Cindy ditched the braids and adopted a more complicated hair style that was still not entirely straight. In preparation for the Shirley temple doo, Cindy removed her acessories and started to come out her curls so we briefly got a glimpse of what Susan Olsen might have looked like back then when she wasn't playing Cindy.

Used ashtray Alice doesn't live her anymore
In the scene where the kids are in Alice's room you can clearly see an ashtray with three cigarette butts. Was this careless set docoration or did a crew member (or maybe Barry Williams) use that rarely shown part of the set to take a cigarette break?

Were they barefooted in that scene?

Their feet were never shown, so you couldn't tell.

[in case this is seen out of context, we're discussing the scene where Cindy and Bobby are supposedly wearing nothing under their robes]

I can't think of any time they were actually walking around barefoot.

How about the Hawaii episodes? Or did they only wear sandals?

I'm not sure that would count since they weren't on the set, I'll have to check that out.
