1. Eric Cartman (South Park) He is my favorite comedic character of all time and he has his sitcom-y moments. Creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone said he was like a young Archie Bunker.
2. Alf (Alf) He is just sarcastic, who couldn't love him? Alf was one of the best sitcoms of the 80's.
3. Potsie (Happy Days) Potsie will always have a soft spot in my heart. He was the reason I found SitcomsOnline in the first place when I was at the tender age of 13. He may not be one of the brightest characters but he can warm your heart strings with his lovely voice and boyish good-looks.
4. Fonzie (Happy Days) The coolest guy to ever grace my television screen. Need I say more?
5. Reese (Malcolm In the Middle) loveable (well that could be debated), dimwitted 2nd oldest in this crazy family. I just loved him.
6. Penny (Happy Endings) WoAh a female on my list. This is a rare feat. In my old age, I am starting to really appreciate woman in the comedy field (took me forever because I was a jealous little girl who wanted the men to herself) but Penny from HE is just fun and hilarious to watch. She also is relateable in many ways, not stick thin but always cheerful about the future. YEAR OF PENNY FOR THE WIN!
7. Eric Matthews (Boy Meets World) Crazy or not, I loved his character all the same.
8. Liz Lemon (30 Rock) food. dream job. hilarious. tina fey. need not to say more.
9. Homer Simpson (The Simpsons) Homer and his family have put me through A LOT. Funny, genius, to even the few emotional moments. If the Simpsons stopped like 10 years ago he would have been number 1, but since the creators have dollar signs on their eyelids, Homer's charm has diminished so I have to just think of the good days. So he clings here.
10. Phil Dunphy (Modern Family) the best character on this show by FAR. His antics just make the show enjoyable every week.
