In honor of MPI's "The Color Honeymooners Collection 3" hitting the streets today, I want to share my archive find this weekend...I believe this is quite common in the serious collectors circuit, but I found a really nice beautiful quality master of Jackies' May 13, 1985 (yes it was 23 years ago already!) NBC special entitled "The Honeymooners Reunion". Thought the title is somewhat misleading, Jackie is joined by the lovely Audrey Meadows in a red sequined gown (making up for being seen in black & white all those years!) while sitting in a recreation of the Kramden living room and share clips from the then just released to showtime cable "Lost episodes". All the original commercials are intact and this one is quite enjoyable, a nice embrace and kiss are shared by the stars towards the end.......very nice special! teeveecloset@aol.com
