A homedics jet you attach to your bathtub to convert it into a hot tub for one and a 1984 mint condition Punky Brewster doll w/ original box. I owned one when i was little as a gift from my mom so i bought it for sentimental reasons.

I used to buy a lot of stuff on eBay (comic books, magazines, books,
posters, records, videos, toys, and other collectibles). In fact, between
April 25, 2000 and now I have bought a total of 532 different items (mostly
TV memorabilia). But now I am on a limited income so my purchases are few and far between. The latest one (on March 22, 2008) was a Ghost Whisperer comic book (the first issue).

Coupons - not very exciting and not sure it's completely legal to buy them.

An episode of an old TV Show that's not on DVD or TV. I was going to buy another episode of another TV show that was a film on a reel, but I forgot when it was up. :( It didn't sell either...I wish they'd relist it.

It must not be too much of a crime to sell or buy coupons because eBay appears to have done nothing about it. I buy coupons sometimes but only for products that are on sale the same week. The only thing I have to worry about is whether or not the coupons will arrive in time to be used but so far that hasn't been a problem

The thing I wonder about is where are these coupons being obtained from. Some sellers have multiple coupons for the same product and the manufacturer's normally don't send out multiple coupons unless the consumer has a complaint.

My guess is that they're being taken from the Sunday newspaper inserts which is what I used to do when I had a paper route back in the mid 80's. I never took them from the customers though, I had several racks and when it came time to change to Monday's paper, Any that were leftover from Sunday were mine.

Some coupons now say cannot be sold on them - but I won't be too concerned until someone in a store asks me about it. Self-checkout is my friend when using many coupons. My family once got an item for free using coupons - the clerk asked my family member where we got all the coupons from and they said they got them from me. Honest, but not the answer they were looking for.

I smiled when I read that you used to take out the coupons from the Sunday inserts. I used to do the same thing. My guess is most people on eBay either sell/distribute newspapers or know someone else that does.

Any additional papers that I didn't sell were turned in for credit and the route manager had no problems with any carriers keeping the coupons but if any of us removed them before they were placed in the racks we were in big trouble.

If I were still delivering papers today, I would still get the coupons from any leftover papers but I wouldn't waste my time clipping them and selling them on eBay. I've got plenty here to sell without trying to unload coupons.

I wouldn't sell them myself either but it might be good income for someone who is home during the day.

A Marvel Superheroes tv tray, circa 1981.

My two older sibs, both born in the early 80's, each had one when we were kids. I, however, did not. But now all of us have the same tray. :D

Im having my dad bid for an item now (An 8 track tape) -- I think its ends tommorow...

The current bid is $15

I hate bids,ya gotta wait until its over!!

Why do they do it BID instead of BUY??

No one else is bidding thankfully on the item I want.... It could have shipped 3 days ago if they werent greedy! (Ah man!!)

The last thing I ordered was the movie THE TIME MACHINE on VHS :( (First release)

The 8 track was apparently damaged so they cancelled the order and refunded my dads money.. (We had won the bid too ($15))

EDIT:

Well I got the tape today and in my opinion it wasnt the first release!!

The One I have has a date of 8/19/82

This one says 6/04/85

The audio is slightly louder but its not BETTER. The video def isnt as good......

The person who sold this DID NOT SHOW THE STICKER WITH THE DATE on the auction..... If I had seen it,I wouldnt have gotton it!! (He probably knew that)

Ah well........

8 tracks dont get many bids... Its silly to have one on BID and not BUY...

Just shows GREED I guess... Then when they dont get alot, they make up stuff like this.. (Im not saying they did that this time but they could have)
