Does anyone here remember the Heidi Game incident?

Even though I was not yet born, it was the November 17, 1968, game between the Raiders and the Jets in which stations cut away from the game with the Raiders up 32-29, and the Jets came back and won 43-32. (Or did the Raiders come back? I forget.)

Of note, "The Fonz" referenced this in the 1978 Thanksgiving episode of Happy Days when Marion turned off the TV and told the story of Thanksgiving. Of course, it was 1959 or 1960 then, so it was used in error.

The game was supposed to be a real exciting game and suddenly..."Heidi" was on.

This was seen on the NBC 75th Anniversary Special.
