i read in an article that in 2007 there was a loosely scripted idea for a new laverne and shirley show where penny and cindy would play themselves. did that ever happen or has anyone heard anything else about it since?

Actually, there were plans to have a Penny & Cindy reality show on TV Land, but plans were stopped last fall. I have mixed feelings about the venture. I'd love to see these two actresses together again, but I loathe reality television.
