View Full Version : Dukes stuff
PlayOn 05-26-2008, 02:56 AM does anybody have a DOH collection they would like to share?
i don't have much:
*2 t-shirts
*a few seasons of the Dukes DVD sets (i think maybe 2 or 3, along with sea. 1)
catlover79 05-26-2008, 08:37 PM When I was a kid I had a Matchbox car General Lee, and a blue nightie with a big picture of Bo & Luke on the front (along with the show's logo). Unfortunately, those are long gone. I've taken the DVDs out of the library and am thinking of buying them.
Brandon, did you ever read the Dukes of Hazzard Unofficial Companion by David Hofstede? It has cast interviews, an episode guide and a complete list of memorabilia. You should check it out, if you haven't already. :D

tv star collector 05-28-2008, 08:16 AM I have a few items:
The Dukes of Hazzard Unofficial Companion, by David Hofstede
The Dukes of Hazzard Pilot TV Episode DVD
The Dukes of Hazzard original cast cassette (1982)
Trading cards (a few)
TV Guide 3/8/81, 5/1/82
catlover79 06-04-2008, 01:55 PM I read somewhere that there was a cast album released while the show was still going on. Of course, Tom Wopat, John Schneider and Sonny Shroyer all had their own recording careers going on at the same time.

Zoneboy 06-04-2008, 02:38 PM I had a Dukes board game complete from around 1980-81 and an unused Dukes activity book. It had about 400 pages of games, puzzles etc...and was from 1983. I put both one eBay about 2 years ago and the final bid was $1. That's what I started the auction at and only one person bid. I was upset about it but I honored the bid as always. It wasn't a total loss though, Another game I had purchased at Goodwill for $2.99 brought $350.00 so I more than made up for the Dukes loss.

Thanks for that info! I read that Sonny Shroyer released an album in 1982 or 1983. THAT I'd love to hear!

EighteenMinutes 08-03-2008, 12:17 AM did you ever read the Dukes of Hazzard Unofficial Companion by David Hofstede?
I've got this book. In general, it's a great reference for any Dukes fan but whoever editted this book did a horrible job. As I read through, the book, there are more, unnecessary commas, than in anything I've, ever, read before.
Although poorly written, it's still an awesome reference book.
catlover79 08-03-2008, 12:19 AM ^ As much as I love Herbie J. Pilato's Bewitched Forever, it is the poorest editing job on a book I've ever seen. I think it's worse than the Dukes book in that regard.
