Because that would make them 17 titles and obvious the most in the league. If the Lakers win, Kobe and Phil already has their rings, so no big deal. If the Spurs win, they are nothing new they won last year, as with the Pistons a few years ago. So if the Celtics win it all, ESPN and the rest of the media will be hyping it up, not only because the franchise will be at 17 titles, but because this Celtics squad hasn't won anything yet.

Though it would be nice to see Doc Rivers win a title as a coach.
