He probably didn't know because as a kid you usually don't pay attention to those things. I didn't know anything about area codes and where they were located when I was 8 years old either.

Solomon, what in heck did happen to those chips? Luring a child with food has been a common thing for many years. I will teach my child not to volunteer to help a stranger find his dog. I want my child to ask him or herself, "Why is this grown behind dude asking me, a mere child to help find a dog especially if I told him that I can't talk to strangers? I know. I will cry bloody murder!"
