Gale Gordon: Great when working with Lucille Ball in Here's Lucy and The Lucy Show but not-so great when cast as John Wilson in Dennis the Menace. For my money, Joseph Kearns was the definitive Mr. Wilson.

Donna Reed: Great as Donna Stone in The Donna Reed Show but not-so great as Miss Ellie In Dallas.

Hands down I have to agree with Donna Reed on DALLAS being terrible.

Lucille Ball - great in all her sitcoms except LIFE WITH LUCY.

Sally Struthers - Great in All In The Family but didn't like her in GLORIA.

I disagreed on Shelley Fabares. She was hilarious on One Day At A Time. She was funnier and the character she played was a far cry from those wholesome characters she normally played. On Coach she did not have enough to do with her character.

Mary Tyler Moore - Great on The Dick Van Dyke Show OK on The Mary Tyler Moore Show. MTM was the breakout star of the TDVDS.

Meredith Baxter Birney - Powerful on Family and not good on Family Ties.

Nancy Dussault - Good on the New Dick Van Dyke Show but not so good on Too Close for Comfort. The latter lacked character development.

Linda Lavin - Good on Barney Miller but not good on Alice.

Dixie Carter - not good on Diff'rent Strokes but great on Designing Women.

John Astin - Great as Gomez Adams but not so great as Riddler on Batman

Robert Brown - great on Here Come The Brides, not so great on Primus.

Shannon Dourgherty - Great/90210..... Not Great/Our House
