I liked the look. It was so cheezy 80's and needed. Loved it. It was about time...although he went back to the short afro later in the season.

Looking through season 8 to me it was like he went from 1985 slowly to 1980 and back to 1986 in terms of hairstyles and also you see almost every way he rocked his fro from 1980-1986 (except that weird cut from early season 6)
