View Full Version : Did N@N air all the episodes of DS or did they avoid some of them?

Also, how was the editing on N@N vs. how it is being aired now?

Nick at Nite did skip a lot, but TNN (the then Spike TV aired it weekdays) and TV Land (in marathons) aired the rest of the unaired ones, if not all.

The editing is always different on Nick at Nite for every show vs. standard syndication edits (which BET is using). Nick at Nite likes to use the full themes of shows, have the end tag scenes, etc. They cut out things we normally see though, but do give us things we normally don't. Three's Company's editing was an example.

Thanx Pav. I never could understand why that station would choose not air certain episodes of shows. I mean if it aired at night after 9 p.m. then what is the problem? Do you remember what hour it aired on N@N?

I really hated how they edited out a particular word from a ROSEANNE episode. They chopped abt 5 seconds of that scene and it was horrible.

DS aired at 8:30pm for awhile, then 9-10pm or so on Nick at Nite.

I just remember the run on N@N being so brief--at least it seemed that way. Compare that to how long and how often other shows now get ran on there!

I remember that it aired with "Facts" then was pulled then brought back for a 9pm airing to 10pm then pulled after a week for "Kids Say the Darndest Things".

I think it only lasted from Early 2001 to June. I know it wasn't on in the summer

It was on in the summer, part of the Un-real-athon. I believe it was Diff'rent Strokes Thursdays. It was on until about September 2001, then they removed it...then it returned in January 2002. Shortly after it moved to Spike.
