Never heard of it. Are you talking about the 80s film, 'The Nude Bomb'? If so, Barbara Feldon (Agent 99) was never asked to be in the movie.

When "The Nude Bomb" first aired on network television, it was retitled "The
Return of Maxwell Smart." It was on NBC (don't know what year).

Ah, yes, now I have heard. It was somtime in the early 80s when the movie came out. If not actually 1980, I don't remember. I'd have to look it up.

I think it came out in 1979, I seem to remember reading a review of it in Time magazine, and the same issue had a review of "STAR TREK: THE MOTION PICTURE" (for all non-trekys; that was the first Star Trek movie) and I KNOW that that was in Dec. 1979.

I could be wrong about "GET SMART" though.

Andrea Howard played Agent 22. (Source: The Get Smart Handbook,
by Joey Green (1993))

She look like Julie from The Love Boat

Funny you should say that because she did guest star in an episode of The
Love Boat. She had a recurring role in the series Santa Barbara.

"The Return Of Maxwell Smart" is how they refer to the movie in the interactive scheadules on my cable system (it's currently showing now and again on HBO and Cinemax). But the movie is indeed the theatrical release "The Nude Bomb". I think they used the TV title because they wanted the movie to be recognized as a movie based on "Get Smart"

It's been playing on cable lately.

Awhile back at the Hollywood Collector's Show, I spoke with Bernie Kopell about "The Nude Bomb" and "Get Smart, Again." I told him that in my opinon, Get Smart, Again is what the movie should've been and that the Nude Bomb was not only a waste of Don Adams' talent but also a dis-service to the series. His opinon was similar, but with somewhat more colorful language.

Nice to know another (cast member's) point of view on those. *smiles*
