...it was exactly 15 years ago that the final Cheers episode aired on TV.

Oh, and also. The first season was released on DVD five years ago today... the day Cheers hit the 10-year mark since their final episode.

I know, I know. I'm a geek. This TV season had some milestone anniversaries for Cheers, though... Like the fact that it turned 25 last fall (rapidly coming up on 26 now). Doesn't seem like that long ago to me. Dang.

Oh man. I realized what today was too shortly before you did, but didn't post anything.

And after 15 years, why haven't we gotten a Cheers reunion yet?!?!?

Yep - they need to hurry up and get on with the program! Everybody else who did Cheers is still alive, with the exception of Nicholas Colasanto. So why not, right? A reunion would be SO doable right now. Totally.

Reunions are always bad, lame ideas . I prefer to remember "Cheers" as is and watch my DVDs.

Now if they want to reunite actors and have Shelley Long guest star with Ted Danson on "Damages", that I would watch.
