I'm hoping BTY comes out on DVD soon.

1. I'd like to see the rest of the season and what would've been.

1. Hopefully sales go through the roof ala Family Guy and somebody picks this dang show up.

Wishful thinking I know, but not out of the realm of possibilities.

Brian, I'd love this too but highly doubt it.

See, with FG, they were no well known actors or a set to build. I'm sure if a pick-up doesn't happen in the next week, the set of BTY will be taken apart. Even if a dvd sale did incredible, I don't think the set would be rebuilt and have everyone come back after lets say, 6 months.

According to someone who worked BTS of BTY from the TV.COM board, a dvd release is in the works and if the remaining unaired episodes dont air (which at this point they prob wont), they will be put on the complete series release. Hopefully in order of how they were suppose to be aired.

BTW, the users name was "teamfarce" who made this statement on the TV.COM BTY board.

Good point, I guess...

I still have faith that this will be picked up somewhere.

Also, I don't think Family Guy has that same feel since it returned in 2005. The first three years were by far classic while the past 3 have been iffy! lol...

I'm on your side, Brian. I still have faith in this show. It's too good to just go away - someone needs to see what we've been doing this past week!

I wonder why we kind of haven't heard of a DVD announcement yet. I mean, I thought FOX would jump on releasing this show. But, maybe I'm jumping the gun - I'm sure we'll see one eventually.

I actually emailed Gord Lacey at TVShowsOnDVD.com...

I asked him if there were rumblings of a dvd release and here is what he said...

Sorry, nothing has been announced yet.

He is seriously the man of few words-LOL.

I the holdup may also be trying to get those unaired episodes onto DVD. And weren't there like some season 2 episodes already in production? I've been hearing a lot of stories on what unaired episodes were left, and which ones had prodcution cancelled.

Well there was a taping on May 13th and Chuck had to report some wierd news story and there was set to be an episode taped on the 20th but the taping was cancelled. There was "Date Night" and "House Of Tommorow" which haven't aired aswell.

If it does go to DVD don't forget to save your originals. Fox has said that politically incorrect remark about Polish heritage is permanently purged and will never show up on anything again.

So there's 3 unaired episodes?
