How were June and Kris introduced on the show?

Did we see Dave courting June and then proposing? Same for Rick and Kris?
Did they have wedding episodes? or are we introduced to June out of the blue in "Dave Goes Back to Work"?

I'm not sure. Unfortunately I don't have all the eps & so this may or may not have occured on one I'm missing.

Hope someone who's viewing, who has an extensive collection, might know this and share it with us.

I'm gotta admit.......June and Dave made one great couple :)

I remember one episode, can't recall it right now, but Ricky was dating June and Dave was dating someone else. In real life, Dave persuaded his dad to write June in an epidode and I guess that's how they eventually married. I wish we had all the episodes. Maybe that would explain how June and Kris came to be their wives. Then maybe not. I remember Kris had already had their first child before she ever came on the show. I just saw June Blair on Bat Masterson a few weeks back. She was on at least two episodes of that show. She was so pretty.

I remember watching the ABC TV movie based on the Nelson family (aired several years ago) and was shocked to find out how they announced that Tracy was a "premmie", in order to preserve the image that Rick did not have premarital sex.

Niether Dave and June or Rick and Kris were shown as dating before they were suddenly married on the show. Though for Dave I guess you could kinda say they did even if it was a couple times with June as different girls. They weren't shown as seriously dating, she was just another random girl.

June was in a couple episodes before becoming "Mrs David Nelson".

In one episode June was dating Ricky and Dave was dating another girl. They were on a double date. Dave really liked June and vice versas but not wanting to steal his brothers girl was conflicted. A big dance was coming up, and Ricky hadn't asked out June, so though feeling guilty about it, Dave asked June to go with him. Turns out he had no need to worry, because Ricky showed up at the dance with the girl Dave had been out with on the double date.

Another episode June appeared in, she was as a temparary secratary at the law firm. Miss Edwards was going on vacation, Mr. Kelly had Dave hire a temp. Dave interviewing with his eyes and not his head hires June who's skills as a secratary aren't so great. Eventually she does manage to get all her work done to Mr. Kelly's satisfaction.

Parts from this episode were used in another episode after June and Dave were married. In the later episode June was going to be filling in for Miss Edwards who was going on vacation again. Dave and June tell Ozzie nad Harriet about the first time June subbed for Connie when they were still dating and we see a flashback to the earlier episode.
