He died from AIDS and frankly, I only know his one hit song WE DON'T HAVE TO TAKE OUR CLOTHES OFF. Here in the U.S. he is considered a one hit wonder.

Before "We Don't.....", the only other song to get any airplay in the US was "The Word is Out"
