In front of Gracie at the end of the show, did it cross your mind that he was saying that in front of a child.

I'm just wondering, because sometimes I think I'm in a time warp and I just don't see things they way others do anymore. This post is not to rail against anybody or anything. I'm just wondering how people see things in 2008.

For those that didn't see the episode, Willard didn't direct the phrase at anyone. He used it the way someone might say ''darn it'' when something bad happened. But when he said it, it was in response to something Gracie said. If you missed the episode, you can check it out on Hulu.com.

The key thing for me is, did it cross your mind the minute Willard said it, or did it not even register and you are only thinking about it now upon reflection?

Just curious

It never crossed my mind until you posted this thread. I still don't think it's a big deal at all - it was meant to be a joke, and I thought it was really funny!
