Was she ever seen/mentioned again? Or did she end up in oblivion like Chuck Cunningham, Judy Winslow, Carl Dixon, etc.??

She was mentioned a few times when Sid was alive but then never heard from again.

Thanks, Sonny! I am really loving Season 1 so far (the first time I've ever seen it). :D

Karen Allen's Annie character was only seen in the Knots Landing pilot, which aired in December 1979. Annie Fairgate was Sid's oldest daughter (from his first marriage) and was a troublemaker. She was constantly acting out, everything from reckless driving to getting caught with a young man in Sid and Karen's bed! With a little help from Val, Annie ended up making amends at the end of the episode. Then she vanished, never to be seen or heard again!

Whatever happened to Diana Fairgate? She left for New York and we never saw her again either. After that mess with Chip...oy vey. She never was seen again and her mother went through hell after Diana left and she could have used her daughter's shoulder to cry on.

Diana was such a b*tch to her parents, especially her mother.

^ I never cared much for Diana, either.

Awesome! Cool! Too bad there aren't more. I got the Pilot disc today from NetFlix, only to see her in it. I want to make some captures if my program will agree with me, lol.

Does he die? And what happened?

Yea Sid bit the bullet. He was in a car accident at the end of the 2nd season forced off the road by a couple goons Gary was doing business with. Actually I think they cut his break lines...its been a long time since I saw these episodes. Anyway Sid was in a couple episodes at the beginning of the 3rd season where he had to have surgery. Needless to say he didn't make it. Very sad episodes. :(

Diana did return to the show for a few episodes during the last season. But you're right...up until then she was not even mentioned after she left KL.

From what I heard, Don Murray quit the show in a contract dispute, so the character of Sid was killed off. I do like the fact that Karen was able to love again, and had another successful marriage with Mack (played by Kevin Dobson).

I loved Mack. I thought he was a great man to be paired with Karen. Excellent match.

I think Don Murray was hoping for more theatrical movies. This all happened after he made Endless Love with Brooke Shields. I think he made a mistake. He was great on KL.

But yea, KL lucked out because Kevin Dobson was great too and really if you think about it Gary and Val started out as the center of KL but as the series went on I think it changed to Mack and Karen. :D

Yes, Michele Lee really did become the backbone and moral compass of KL.

And, boy, did the audience get a good fake-out during the NEW! opening credits of the 3rd season as Don Murray appeared along with the rest of the stars "in alphabetical order" (for the first 2 shows) leaving us to believe he would survive and we would witness his slow recovery. So when he flatlined during surgery and Rev. Chang from All In The Family left him there in a crucificial position to "go tell the wife", it was a shocker as there was no internet or any other places that would have riddled us with spoilers at the time.

^ Yes, it sure was a lot easier to keep plotlines a secret in those pre-Internet days.
