I only recall a few details. This guy was either serving life or on death row for the murder of his entire family - wife and two children, I believe. He claimed that he was innocent and told a story about a burglar type scenario like Routier, MacDonald et al. The strange thing was that the guy was shot in the back and I remember much discussion about how this could or could not have been possible. I'm pretty sure this took place in Los Angeles. This is not the Tommy Ziegler story. Anyone remember the guy's name or have any more details? I thought he was innocent.
