I was getting some work done tonight and was listening to the 60's on 6 channel on XM radio. They were spotlighting 1968 (I'm not sure what the segment is called) and made mention of the Monkees.

It said they are in Salt Lake City this week (the show is done as if you are in the year they are highlighting) which is true because today specifically they were in Salt Lake preparing to film the live concert footage for HEAD.

Anyway...they say something to the effect of "Here is a track off their latest 'The Birds The Bees and The Monkees' and DREAM WORLD comes on.

Not that the song is one of their classics (although I've always enjoyed it) but the point is that it was nice to hear something other than Clarksville, I'm a Believer, Daydream Believer etc. Nice that some music outlet out there somewhere recognizes that they recorded more than 5 songs. :)

I just thought it was cool and wanted to share.
