I have to disagree. Blair was from time to time not very nice to Jo. However, Jo wasn't always nice to Blair either. I think they both dished out the meanness from time to time.

they always had there moments were they werent very nice to each other, but then they truely became friends! i think by the fourth season, their jokes about each other was more of them showing affection for each other because they did become best friends!!! ;)

i have to agree. though they both annoyed each other in the beginning, i think they both grew on each other toward the later part of the show. they did both still poke fun at each other, but they both went to each other for advice. they really did become best friends by the end.

well, its never said that they are best friends until "down and out in malibu" part 1, i believe...jo actually introduces blair as her best friend, but i think they truely became best friends in "aint miss beholden" with the whole "you owe the gas company...you dont owe your friends" scene! they were good friends before that, but i think that marks the crossover of good friends to best friends!
