I kind of figured both Davids would make it. I like them but I kind of want David Cook to win probably because he is more original and I like his style. I love rock and Cook does rock well . But If David A wins and becomes like mega famous I just hope he doesn't let the fame go to his head and end up like alot of the celebrity child stars that go bad, because he is a really decent kid and I want him to stay that way

The final two was so obvious since Carly left, LMAO.

I'm sad for Syesha, but at the same time, proud because lots of people didn't think she'd make it this far. I loved seeing all the journey and homecoming videos, but they were all so emotional. :(

However, the two David's were the right choices for the final two all along. I'm soooo excited! :woohoo: This is my favorite final two of ALL seasons of Idol! Cookie is obviously my fave and Archie's grown on me these past several weeks ... having them in the final two is awesomeness all around. It's gonna be intense next week!

BTW, I might be in the audience at the results show. Can't confirm it yet, but I should find out hopefully tomorrow! :)

i really dont think his dad is abusive actually, i think he's just overbearing, like...he cares too much about his singing and crap. i dont think he physically abuses him.

Same here. I don't think his dad is abusive towards him, really. I think he's just overbearing when it comes to his singing. I guess you could say he's a ''stage dad''. But I also think he's been very helpful to Davey when it comes to his performances on Idol. And whenever he has talked about his dad, he seemed sincere in stating he had a good relationship with him and that he was glad his dad was there with him. I think Davey's naturally very soft-spoken and he's said before his dad is like his translator when it comes to relating what he wants to do with a song. So yeah, I'd like to think it's not THAT bad. :lol:

Some people close to the Archuleta family have said the people at AI felt it was an unfair advantage to have him there or whatever, or at least insinuated that was the root of the problem and the reason he was forced to become less involved. I think David's dad probably pushed for him to add the line from ''Beautiful Girls'' into his performance and they saw it as the last straw. I think they probably viewed him as an annoyance before and this was just the opportunity to get him out of the picture, but that's just my opinion, really. I sort of just meant it as an expression...an exaggeration.. you know when you're really mad at someone you say you're gonna kill them? You're not REALLY gonna kill them. Just like David's dad wouldn't literally beat him..he'd just be really really pissed. Sorry for the confusion! I guess the way I wrote it didn't seem like this haha.

LOLLL, it's not fun to watch an Idol get booted. :lol: Yeah, I actually went top 10 week (When Cook sang "Billie Jean") but that was only the dress rehearsal ... still had a blast though!

Ohhhh, and I'll be there on Wednesday for sure! :woohoo: I just don't know where I'll be sitting - I hope Seatfiller hits me up so I can be in the front. But I do have a ticket reserved with ocatv, so I'll be there no matter what. :D I'm so excited! <3
