Does anyone have anymore information about what case they are talking about in reference to the Special #6 from May 6 1988:
"Hagerstown, Md., case in which the psychic powers of Dorothy Allison are put to the test. "

Her name was Lori Zimmerman. She disappeared 10 minutes after leaving a friend's house after school in April of 1984. She was found a week later partially clothed and dead from manual strangulation. She had something in her throat. I don't think it was a death's head moth that got wedged in there ;) , but they never said. Thanks for the help. It's interesting to note that in the website you listed, they say "friends were interviewed and denied seeing her". I think that's an odd way of putting it. Seems as if either the investigators had proof or disbelieved that the friends had seen her. If the friends had simply not seen her you would think the normal "Friends stated they did not see her" would suffice.
Wonder if there are theories involving the friends but they dont have enough evidence to release any info down that line or to prosecute.
