I had a question about some cases and if there was any updates, etc:
1. the case about the gentleman and his aunt who looked after birds. they disappeared and nothing else was ever heard from them
2. JOhn and Linda Sohus(not sure about the speling) disappeared. but someone came to pick up Lnda's cats from where they were being boarded.
3. the couple who went to sell a computer and were attacked with a hammer and the lady died. I think her name was Heather.
This is my first post, so if I post in the wrong place, please let me know
Alfie:)

Welcome Alfie! :)
The first case I can't remember the man's name but the woman was Lila Buritan. I don't know if they've ever been found. I couldn't find anything about them on the net.
As far as John and Linda Sohus. They did find some bones in the backyard of the house who they believe were John's. I think Linda is still missing.
Thirdly I don't know of any arrests in that case either. The killer gave the name "Tom Johnson" but of course people believe it was an alias.

For number 1, was the man's name Moses Long?

There was another case that I was interested in as well. Does anyone remember the story of a girl named Julie that left the Decloud family cult? Anyone know whatever happened to her?

Not sure what has happened to her since but I recently watched the NBC version of this segment and they do mention that the tv repairman that helped her escape the cult (his name may have been Tim) did propose to her and they were getting married! I also got the vibe watching the Lifetime version they were together but don't remember them ever showing that part about the engagement. Sounds like this one had a happy ending. :)

Oh wow, seriously?? I was just watching that segment this morning, and wondering whatever happened to Julie. I tried to find some info online about Nelson Decloud but I couldn't find anything.
Anyway, that's a wonderful ending to this story.

I tried to find some info online about Nelson Decloud but I couldn't find anything.
I found him at the Missouri Department of Corrections. One of the scariest prisoner photos I've ever seen...
https://web.mo.gov/doc/offSearchWeb/searchOffender.do When you get to that page type in Nelson DeCloud and his page will come up.
It looks like he was sentenced to 220 years in prison so thankfully he won't be getting out.
