Hey they mention our online petition and bottled water campaign!!!!!
JulieSomoski 05-12-2008, 05:36 PM Is that for serious????-LOL That is so completely awesome that someone finally caught eye to our campaign to save the show!!!! Maybe that will get people to help us out.
I better send an email thanking them for including that in the article.
Brian Damage 05-12-2008, 06:05 PM Meanwhile, a fan campaign to save the show has begun with a petition and discussion about the campaign on a message board.
In a nod to last year's "Jericho" nuts campaign, fans plan to send bottled water to CBS executives, encouraging them to pick up "Back to You." On last week's episode of the sitcom, the new WURG station manager slashed the budget, including bottled water.

catlover79 05-12-2008, 06:11 PM Very cool!! Hopefully, this will work and someone will bring back this fine show!!
JulieSomoski 05-12-2008, 06:16 PM This is really is awesome, guys. I hope we can get our idea spread elsewhere soon.
Mr. Television 05-12-2008, 06:33 PM Hey that's great news. The word's getting out. Reading that whole article it seems like they were told they were renewed and at the last minute they were cancelled. Fox lied to them. They also confirmed that Fox was the one behind the recasting of Gracie. They went along with a lot of this so they wouldn't give Fox an excuse to cancel them and they did it anyway.
JulieSomoski 05-12-2008, 06:38 PM I think the moral of this story is FOX has a bunch of lunatics running around in charge of their network. All they care about is American Idol - they probably think that every other show can die.
Sonia 05-12-2008, 07:10 PM I get so mad reading this article to see how FOX interefered with the production, mishandled and disrespected the show and all its staff. And it's all Kevin Reilly's doing....
energy 05-12-2008, 09:05 PM I am so glad Estha posted this. Now we know so much more about what was going on behind the scenes with the show. Everything makes so much more sense now.
When the the cast change with Gracie was made, I though it was boneheaded. I couldn't understand how people who understand comedy like Burrows, Levitan, Grammer, etc. could think the original actress was not doing a good job. It turns out they thought she WAS doing a good job, but it was FOX that wanted the change.
Janice 05-12-2008, 09:44 PM That's an excellent and informative article. Thanks for posting, Estha. Yeah, what's up with Kevin Reilly and FOX? You never know what's going on behind the scenes. ohno:
Great news that they mentioned the bottled water campaign! Word really gets around. ;)

A boycott of AI would be awesome but I know that would never happen. Too many people love that show.
