Completely remove and rewire the doorbell from the left side to the right side...

I'm pretty sure the button moved back to the left by seasons 6-8, when Furley had his multiple goes at fixing it...

oh, and have you noticed that the internal box migrated from over by the kitchen (episode 2) to right above the door (season 6-7)?

True, but anyone was a better handyman than Mr. Furley. Remember when he made electric sparks fly out of the door bell in one episode? :)

Interesting. I wonder why they changed it though. It could have been a mistake made when changing the set, but I don't see why they would have had to redo it.

Look at the background in that one picture. They really did a fantastic job on the set design for that show. There were numerous episodes with fantastic designs, Up in the Air, A Camping we Will go, and of course the Regal Beagle.
