like speed racer i would love see a battle of the planets movie

I was a big Battle Of The Planets fan when I was a kid. But a movie like that would cost at least 200 million to make. That's a big risk nowadays.

And since it looks like Speed Racer isn't going to be the big blockbuster they had hoped it would be, looks like retro Japanese catroons are off the big screen remake list.

That would be cool too.

But, considering how Speed Racer has tanked at the box office, I doubt we'll see any more remakes of classic Japanese cartoons in the near future.
