View Full Version : Favorite BW movie? PlayOn 05-11-2008, 02:21 AM whats your favorite Bruce Willis movie? Do you even like him? i like all of his movies. they kick serious butt! waichingliu81 05-11-2008, 08:07 AM he's good. i did like him in moonlighting though. he was excellent in that. as for my favourite movie, well out of the ones i've seen, it would have to be die hard 2. the first one was good, the third was ok- although jeremy irons as a bad guy with a fake german accent, i think not! die hard 2 was awesome though, it was intense, action packed and there were a few great fight scenes. the one towards the end of the movie was one of the best i've seen. i haven't seen hostage yet but i've heard that's a great film, also live free die hard. what is the fourth die hard like, because i've seen the first three movies dlemond 05-11-2008, 10:14 AM My top 3 would be: 1. Die Hard 2. Pulp Fiction 3. Twelve Monkeys comedyfreak 05-11-2008, 06:52 PM The Die Hard Quadrilogy. catlover79 05-11-2008, 07:15 PM Hudson Hawk. No, just kidding. Probably Sixth Sense. Zoneboy 05-11-2008, 07:25 PM Movies: Die Hard Tv: Twilight Zone Episode Shatterday (1985) This was the first episode from the revival series and Bruce had the lead role as Peter J. Novins and at the time was virtually unknown. I'd say he's done quite well since then. :) Janice 05-11-2008, 10:08 PM I love Bruce Willis. I'm crazy over the Die Hard series. He was fantastic in Hart's War, Pulp Fiction, The Sixth Sense, 16 Blocks. I love him in every movie actually. Even if the movie's not that good, Willis is great. I know he's a cool guy in real life too. Ireneparalegal 05-11-2008, 11:22 PM Pulp Fiction. The only other movie I like is COLOR OF NIGHT, only because my daughter's godfather worked security on the set of the movie when they filmed here and he got me and my daughter access to go on the set. We took pics inside the car Bruce's character drove and we stayed on the set while they filmed. I have a pic of me in that car. I should dig for it and post it here. Mr. Television 05-11-2008, 11:31 PM I'm a big Bruce Willis fan and I got most of his movies on Video. My favorites are the Die Hard Movies, Sixth Sense, 12 Monkees, Mercury Rising, The Jackel ( I love him as a hitman lol), Hostage, The Whole Nine Yards, 16 Blocks and he was great in Moonlighting ( although that's not a movie). I've never seen a real bad BW movie. Hudson Hawk was his worst but it was still entertaining. PlayOn 05-12-2008, 12:08 AM Pulp Fiction. My dad, who is a teacher, was acquainted with another teacher at his old school district. This man had a brother who worked as a grip in Hollywood. One of the actors he worked with was Bruce Willis. The grip said that BW was one of the nicest people he's ever met, not stuck-up or full of himself, and acted like a regular guy. I thought that was awesome. PlayOn 05-12-2008, 12:19 AM I have an interesting story to share. My dad, who is a teacher, was acquainted with another teacher at his old school district. That might be the only way that movie won't suck. I can see him playing Hannible. MightyCelestial 06-15-2008, 05:55 AM 5. Nobody's Fool - This is simply one of those movies that I really enjoy that never really gets any mention anywhere. A great cast of actors playing a great cast of characters. Bruce plays a role that we don't usually really ever see him play. A bad guy that is bad enough to make us hate him for his antigonizing ways, & yet, fit's in with the other towns people so well that it makes sense that you would still see him playing cards with a comfotability that makes him just one of the guys. A piece of the the puzzle that, despite it sharp edges, still fits in perfectly. 4. Pulp Fiction - Butch. A boxer who sabotages his dive, kills his opponent, guns down a freshly relieved Vincent, gets tied up with a big red rubberball in his mouth, punches out the Gimp, saves his would-be enemy mob-boss with a samuari sword & rides off into the sunset with his lady on a bike that is technically not a motorcycle, but a chopper, with a twilight-zone inspired theme-music playin in the backfround. And all for the sake of a watch that his dead-father had hid away by puttin' it up his ass for 5 long years so that it wouldn't fall into the greasy hands of his gook/slope-captors. Hell, just telling that story, I can feel my heart-strings being pulled. Either that, or I'm developing a heart murmur. 3. Sixth Sense - I don't know which supernatural ability is worse: Being able to see dead people, or being able to see Bruce Willis's bad toupe. 2. The Whole Nine Yards - Bruce Willis's best comedic performance ever. 1. Die-Hard 2 - Actually, I guess we should include the 1st Die-Hard tied with this one, though I definitely feel that this 2nd one is better. This is how great action movies are supposed to be made.
