Hello there.
I'm new to these forums, and to sitcom trading, however I have been trading concert cassettes, CDs & DVDs for close to 15 years now, so i know the ground rules, so to speak. Since I really don't have anything to trade, if anyone can help me in my search, I would gladly cover all media/postage costs, as well as any other fair compensation.

I am looking for any TV appearances of George Carlin, from any of the variety shows including Merv Griffin, Mike Douglas, Johnny Carson, Ed Sullivan, etc...

He appeared in all of the episodes of the (3rd) Season of the Tony Orlando & Dawn show (that season being the Rainbow Hour)

I only have poor quality copies of a few of his Television show from the 90's, i would love to see the rest.

He was a writer/frequent guest on the Flip Wilson show, though details on what episodes are unclear, and IMDB is not 100% on some other appearances.

In 1967, he hosted "Away We Go" with Buddy Greco, which also had Buddy Rich on the drums.

If anyone could please help me out, I would be very grateful. I'm not in the habit of burning anyone, but I will send all materials up front in good faith.
Please Post here, or PM me if you can help me out.
Thanks!

Did they ever release his tenth HBO special on pro DVD? I believe it was called "40 Years of Comedy". I seem to recall it had an interview portion and showed clips of some of Carlin's talk show appearances. I know it wasn't on DVD a few years back when MPI was releasing the specials at one per month.

Long time Carlin fan here, btw.

I don't believe that was commercially released. I remember seeing it though.
That'd be a good one .

Do you recall if that was to support his "Napalm & Silly Putty" book?

actually, it did make it to a box set - not the complete one that was released recently, but an earlier one
