The cool-as-ice C.D. (Tracey Needham) begins to melt when the gun that killed her former partner shows up at the scene of a robbery. Flashbacks reveal that C.D. was the first person to discover the dead body eight months ago. When Angela (Lela Rochon Fuqua) wonders aloud if C.D. is emotionally equipped to handle this investigation, C.D. assures herself and her new partner that “it's under control.” Meanwhile, Jinny's bad habits get in the way of her working relationship with Magda.
