View Full Version : Anybody Remember The Failed Sitcom "Nikki"?
JamesG 05-06-2008, 08:55 PM This was Nikki Cox's (Unhappily Ever After) failed sitcom that lasted 2 years in the early 2000s. I admit at the time I caught the show on air and watched it just because of her:rolleyes:
Anybody else see this show when it was on?
Yeah, i remember this show, mostly because Nikki paraded around in skimpy costumes, since she was a Vegas showgirl.
I think Nikki is a great comic actress, and i hope she gets a sitcom worthy of her talent.
Ireneparalegal 05-06-2008, 10:12 PM I remember she was engaged to that comedian Bob "Bobcat" Goldwaith. I heard she dumped him.

Thank God for that.
She is currently married/engaged to comic/actor Jay Mohr.

I used to watch it to look at Nikki. The storylines were dull just like the recycled Married with Children storylines on Unhappily Ever After. The show did so badly that WB pulled with leaving a few episodes unaired. I don't think the reruns were ever seen in syndication unless it was on a local or something. If notice, Unhappily bombed in syndication also.

Looks like she's not too picky about the "comedians" she hangs with.
I'm perfectly fine with that.
;)

I assume she does more than "hangs" with them. ;)

I remember watching "Unhappily Ever After" really, really late at night about a decade ago. It must have been from 1999-2000 around maybe 1:30am or 2:00am on Friday nights I believe. I used to watch a lot of late night television, ex. "Tales from the Crypt" so I always looked forward to the "weird" shows that aired during the wee hours. It was treat for me to watch late night tv in my room because Friday and Saturday nights were not school nights so I could watch tv literally all night long.
God, I miss those days...
Ireneparalegal 05-20-2008, 12:19 PM Here is a recent pic of her with her "new" lips. She should have left well enough alone:

Oh my lord!
She looks terrible. She should not have done that!
JamesG 05-20-2008, 03:35 PM ugh, why did she do that? My teenage fantasies have been ruined now.
ThomasE 05-28-2008, 12:02 AM I saw that picture. Heck to the no!

ThomasE 05-28-2008, 12:11 AM That's all that needed to be said about that. Someone should be slapped for that! How dare?!
Mr. Television 05-28-2008, 12:21 AM I loved Unhappily Ever After even though it was an imitaion of MWC but Nikki was just an awful show. I think the only reason to watch it was to look at her.
Ireneparalegal 05-28-2008, 07:36 PM She has also lost a lot of weight. Nikki looked great with meat on her bones and those curves. I hate that women make themselves lose weight and become nothing but skin and bones.
Chocolate Moose 05-28-2008, 08:47 PM i ALWAYS Thought she was beautiful !!!

I was watching her on Las Vegas but I stopped watching a few years ago and haven't really seen her since.

I never saw "Nikki", but I heard it was terrible. When I first heard she was leaving Norm to star in her own sitcom, I couldn't believe it. I knew that show wouldn't last very long.
I saw Nikki a couple of weeks ago on an episode of Ghost Whisperer and she looked really bad. All I kept thinking was what in the hell has she done to her lips. It was a big shock cause I always thought she was one of the sexiest women on tv. I was never a fan of Las Vegas, but I would watch it once in a while and she still looked great when I last saw her back in 2007.
Ireneparalegal 05-28-2008, 10:52 PM Here she is with her new husband Jay Mohr. She seems so thin. I wish she would get some weight back on. She looked so beautiful with curves.
