Still spending the weekends going through the archives and also trying to preserve our classic television heritage (The old Nick At NIte/TV Land slogan when they cared)....anyway......I found episode #4 of the seldom seen and remembered Dick Clark hosted 1981 ABC game show "The Krypton Factor".......also found The final episode of the ABC game show "The Better Sex" hosted by Sarah Purcell & Bill Anderson from 1/13/78.......then it was onto the Dec. 1985 pilot of the John Davidson syndicated version of "Hollywood Squares" with all-stars Burt & Loni, Apollonia, Dick Butkis/Bubba Smith, Jackie Collins, Tony Danza, Marla Gibbs. Steve Landesberg and Dom DeLuise in the center square...Johnny Carson actually participates for a few minutes asking a question!........Lastly a rare black & white episode of the Tom Kennedy hosted NBC series "You Don't Say" with Michael Landon & Laraine Day (I don't who she is either!) aaahhh television when it was extremely cool and no one mentioned the word digital, then again I am transferring these to DVD!

No actually these have been in my private archival collection for years and not aquired through the trading circuits but needed to be cleaned up from different source masters before they rot away forever and we can't have that happen! We must preserve these things as it is a time in television that will never return!

Yes indeed, the big crime of the 60s and 70s (and so forth) was "swiping" or outright tape destroying.
