The man that played the doctor/thearpist seemed awfully familiar. Does anyone know who it was?

that picture looks rather blurry, but of course that was taken straight from the tv. i have no idea who he is. do you know what episode this is from, so i can look it up imdb and check to see if his name is on there?

It was from last weeks, May 1st episode. I don't know the name of the episode though. He just seemed really familiar to me.

It looks to me like Daniel Davis (Niles on "The Nanny").
