My song suggestions

David Arch-Runaway or Sittin on the Dock of the Bay or something else ooh or Teenager In Love
David C- Emo rock versions of Crying in the Chapel and Runaway ( seriously he should do Stones or Purple Haze, or he could do The lash version of I Fought the Law
Jason- I Shot the Sheriff and No Woman No Cry or lIke a Rolling Stone
Syesha- RESPECT maybe?

This is definitely going to be David C's night to shine. I've been waiting for a Rock n' Roll week - obviously because Jason will probably have the hardest time choosing a song. He'll have to choose a softer rock song, not sure what, though.

I think David A could do anything right now. It's hard to say for him. I'd love to see Syesha do Respect, but I think if she does, the judges will compare her too much to Kelly Clarkson when she sang it in season 1. I'd love to see her do an Aretha song, though.

its not rock and roll night, its rock and roll hall of fame night, which covers pretty much every genre of music.

Syesha #1 - shes singing Proud Mary, and the arrangement is really weird, but i thought she did a really nice job. i do agree with Simon that it was a little shrieky though. but overall, she did a good job.

Jason #1 - that...was one of the worst performances of the season. just...wow. o_O

David A #1 - this was REALLY good. one of his best performances i think.

Round 1:

David C...I agree with Randy it was safe.
Syesha...Like how she incorporated choreography into the performance.
Jason...WTF was that? The guitar was kinda superficial.
David A...Wasn't blown away. But, it was a good vocal.

I'll agree with Simon on this one, and give it to David A.

OOHH @ Simon telling Jason to pack his suitcase. I almost felt bad when he made that sad looking face.. but that's only because he's so hot, I was like aww I'm gonna kinda miss that. :( Oh well, his crazy ass fans will still vote for him so you nevah know. :o

THERE, PEOPLE, THERE!!

Do you NOW see why Jason Castro SUCKS?! I honestly think he's a pothead. He should have sang "Free Bird" just for the sake of brilliant irony.

Oh, he didn't. He said "hmmm, hmmm, dzzm, dzzm" or something like that. It was pretty sad, especially considering he almost started laughing right afterwards.

JulieSomoski

I thought David A, David C, and Syesha were all outstanding tonight. I actually believe they are the most deserving top 3. Jason, on the other hand, awful. I have never heard a top 4 performance sound that bad. It even sounded worse than auditions. What the hell do people keep thinking when they vote for him? They are obviously voting for him based on his looks - it for sure isn't his voice or his personality.

I thought David C could have done a little better, though. His first song was just okay. Loved his second though. David A was awesome straight through, but I liked his first song better. He got on my nerves a bit when he was singing "Love Me Tender." Syesha was awesome. I think I liked both her songs the same. What was Randy thinking by saying he hated the second song? I thought that was just downright rude . . . at least Paula and Randy loved it. Jason was just pitiful. Who in the world forgets the lyrics in top 4 week? And it was very obvious - he did this weird groaning sound when he forgot them.

If Jason does not go home tonight, I will absolutely stop watching this show for good. It's nothing but a popularity contest.

yeah i think i liked "Stand By Me" better too, on second listen. it was really current/contemporary, he sounded really good, and i loved the line from "Beautiful Girls".

The one who I think should be eliminated: Jason Castro

The one who if he gets eliminated, I'm going to quit watching the rest of this season: David Archuleta

That's all I have to say.

LOL I watched it on YouTube just now and heard it

So I guess Sea Kingston just took out the lyrics to SBM and kept the muisc and made it Beautiful Girls

So basically, Sean;s hit is SBM with different lyrics, but not a parody lOL

I dont have a problem with Stand By Me, I wanst knocking it or Beautiful Girls, i was simoply stating it was Stand by me with different lyrics. Sean Kingston's alright, I like reggae music, just sometimes not the voices of the singers who sing it except Bob Marley.

I don't understand how Jason picked SUCH crappy songs. Rock and roll hall of fame is so BROAD...there's something in there for everyone. Seriously. I mean if he really wanted to sing Bob Marley so badly, he should have sang "One Love." HELLOOOOOOO? I agree with Simon.. JASON WHAT WERE YOU THINKING? His leave was rightfully deserved.
