SEASON 6 starts tomorrow and atleast I can try and get all the eps from that era. I noticed the last 2 eps o season 5 will air tomorrow at 9am and season 6 starts at 3pm

BET usually airs the eps in order, but now they aren't and they are jumping around by skipping eps. The eps I mentioned above are between "The Senior Class Queen' and "The Boyfriend"<-- this ep is the last ep in season 6.

When NBC aired the show originally they aired it out of order for some reason. I think production order best fits DS.

Why would they? They are airing a lot of marathons and it is doing well for them. The contract does expire after August 31, so maybe they want to air it as much as they can if they can't renew it.

That's messed up I was hoping to get 6, 7, and 8 because for 1 I don't have cable right now and for 2 I like 6 up until Senior Class Queen but I haven't seen the episode after the Honeymoon since 1987 I ALWAYS MISS IT!!

But then again this is a way for those second hand companies to make money by recording all these shows and selling them on DVD and since the ratings are good and BET can renew after August 31st I don't see why we couldn't see up to at least season 6 on DVD, but then again look at Who's The Boss? and Growing Pains get great ratings everywhere they go still no season 2

Why wouldn't you be able to get season 6, 7, and 8 if Bet is aiing the show until august 31st?? The show is aired 6 days a week 4 times a day which means they go through about 3 seasons a month. So it's defintely going to be another full cycle

That they have aired it before. The Boyfriend is airing three times because they want to keep the two-parters in the same hour. The Boyfriend airs Friday at 3:30, Saturday at 12:30 and Monday at 9am. They are not airing new episodes on Saturday this Saturday or next Saturday (May 17) at least...unless there is a last minute change.

I stopped recording today....I am going to catch season 5 when the cycle it again....I missed 6 so if they play it again I will catch it in the summer. If not, Oh well....I got the first four seasons and those are the seasons I liked.

With the way they're rushing through the series, it won't be too long before they get to the two episodes I missed; "The Athlete" (just the ending only, due to that uncut episode before it ending about 3 minutes after the scheduled time), and "Memories" (due to BET pulling off a Nick at Nite and making a last minute change). If I miss any others between now and the end of season 8, I'll add those to the list, but I've been doing quite well with recording the series, considering what I already said.

The rest of this week, and the 2 weeks that follow basically cover seasons 7 and 8, plus the marathon on Memorial Day (which I can't wait for that schedule to be posted, so I know what to record and what not to record). BET has definitely made getting the entire series a breeze. Still a shame that Sony won't release seasons 3-8 on DVD...

Yeah, for example, #146 aired on NBC late in the season, after Drummond was married, with no reference to the marriage at all.

My biggest grip w/ airing shows in production order is that it ***** up continuity case in point,in "Sam's Missing" the Drummond's are remodeling the penthouse, (new set),another case in point "Where There's Smoke" and "The Goat",again the continuity is ***** up.
