'LN' is one of my favorite songs because (as her fans know), it's so unlike her, yet she nails it. to top it off, she was one of the writers on that song. have you seen the video?
my only "beff" with Some Hearts (her debut album) is that she didn't get a chance to write but one song on it. she was busy with interviews, the Idol tour and everything in between.

last night i finally got to see the full Nintendo DS commercial on TV. when i went to www.iplayforme.com they just showed Carrie saying 'oh, cool!' and it would cut off. EVERY TIME!! :mad: it's good. it's a game about dogs. you can take care of it, pet it and everything. Carrie's own dog, Ace, is in it. he shows up at the end.

seriously! great song, but the video didn't make any sense to me. what do the old couple and the young couple fighting over bills or whatever have to do with a woman and her baby driving home for Christmas and the woman almost having a wreck? people on a Carrie board think they are people that asked Jesus to come into their lives (hence the title: Jesus, take the wheel)
btw, i bought 'Wheel of the world' as a ring tone. great song. i'm glad i did because they add new tones every Tuesday and WOTW wasn't an option the following week.

I'M SO SICK!! Sunday before church we always listen to the same Christian music channel on the radio. they only play Christian music on Sundays. i heard part of a commercial saying if you were the 7th caller, you could get tickets to a Carrie Underwood concert. they would play a song by her and you had to call in with the name of that song. i couldn't hear all of it because everybody was talking at the same time :mad:. anways, it said to call at sometime in the 7:00 am hour the next day (if i heard right) i stayed up all night listening to that dang channel. it was almost time and i FRICKIN' FELL ASLEEP!!! :mad: I WAS THIS COLSE TO SEEING ONE OF THE BEST SINGERS EVER AND I FELL ALSEEP!! :mad::mad::mad::soapbox: oh, well. i looked at her tour dates and she didn't have a date near us (only at The Grand Ole Opry, which was Tuesday. did anybody watch?) When she is near us tho, I will CAMP OUT! I WILL DO ANYTHING (ANYTHING!) TO GET TICKETS!! lol.

i saw carrie last night (saturday) on the opry. it was a repeat on tuesday's show. anyways, carrie was on with montgomery gentry, and the oak ridge boys. carrie rocked the house with "i know you won't" and "the more boys i meet", both of which she sang after answering questions from two fans. i'm sure she sang "last name" as well, but i missed that part.

for those not in the know: Just a Dream is Carrie's next single. shooting for the video starts soon.

the "Just a dream" video is in the can. it finished filming June 6th. all we have to do is wait until the single is released on July 21 or 22 (not sure the street date, but i'm leaning towards the former) i believe it's already playing on the radio stations, tho.
don't forget to vote on the countdowns and call in to your radio station for "Last Name" and "Just a dream."
btw, you can vote for "Last name" on TRL on MTV.

it's another Roman White masterpiece and it's wonderful. carrie even acts (greatly, btw) and uses the same man that played her husband the "all-american girl" video.
