I noticed today that they have profiled her on a recent episode of Snapped. You can watch a portion of the episode at the oxygen website. Its webisode #612 btw.

I just watched the episode on Snapped about her. In the beginning, her mom says she was a great child and super nice. Then it says she went to college and didnt make a lot of friends. She kept to herself. I wonder if this is why she turned into a cold hearted person. But that is no excuse to kill an innocent man. I keep to myself, but I could NEVER kill anyone. I just stay close to my family and the few friends that I have. It says in April 2006, she tried to appeal the sentence. I hope she gets locked away forever.

I agree. I watched most of the episode when it aired recently. I get sick of hearing the family say what a wonderful person she is. I haven't seen the UM segment many times so I'm not sure if her diaries were brought up. Its obvious she was a hateful and vindictive woman who hated white people. Her diaries said exactly that. Then she tries to explain them away at her trial saying they're not diaries but a screenplay she was writing...

It also seems that Malaika carried some heavy prejudice. I am white and I am not prejudice. It does not matter to me what a persons skin color is. There are good and bad people in every human race.

She is clueless beyond words and, it's extremely disgusting that she actually had the audacity to justify what she had done. Screenplay or no screenplay, she murdered someone in cold blood.
