I've been to one a few times. I agree, they really are a blast. Who all did you get to meet?

In 1999 I flew up to Toronto to a Whose Line is it Anyway fan convention, where the guest of honor was Colin Mochrie!!! What a cool guy and a hilarious comic. It was a blast! :D

I flew to Tombstone, AZ in 2005 for the Little House on the Prairie Reunion & Western Film Festival. LH cast members in attendance were Melissa Gilbert, Dean Butler, Alison Arngrim, Charlotte Stewart, Hersha Parady, Lindsay Greenbush, Brenda & Wendi Turnbaugh, Allison Balson, Stan Ivar, Pamela Roylance, and Brian Part. Other Western stars there were Bruce Boxleitner (aka Melissa Gilbert's hubby), Mariette Hartley, Stella Stevens, and Jon Provost. It was very hectic and crowded, but a lot of fun.

Marilyn gained about 50 pounds, but still has a pretty face. Seka still looks amazing after all these years.

 you would think so. unfortunately, the streets of hollywood are filled with skanky 18 year olds who think wearing bras is a thing of the past, even if everyone can see everything rather than movie stars. lol. i have met shane west though & robert schwartzman (from rooney & the princess diaries). i should look into a convention for summer maybe & see how much it costs.

That's exactly what I did when I saw Danny Bonaduce in 2001 at the Universal CityWalk. I was on vacation and he happened to be walking in the opposite direction. Guess what - it worked!! I still have the autograph and the picture my friend took of me with him. Plus it was all FREE. :D

Yes, I remember you mentioned that on another thread, and it improved my opinion of Babs. Of course, everyone knows whose autograph I REALLY want...and I'm not giving up trying to get it!!! :D

 I've been lucky enough to get a few people that way. Lou Ferrigno's assistant actually tried to charge me more than $20. I made a collage of him from KOQ and printed it myself, and she said that he might charge more because it could be considered a "collector's item." Um, sorry lady, but I don't think too many people are going to be after a signed print out of Lou inscribed to my name. Luckily, Lou didn't charge anything extra to sign it.

It is almost as bad as sports and the athletes not wanting to sign things. :(

I have a few inscribed to other people, but I only buy them if they are cheap, and if the person is very rare to get or deceased. No one would pay more than a few dollars for an inscribed print out of Lou Ferrigno...if that.

I do that too if it's a very rare picture. As you guys remember, I have been a Vicki Lawrence fan for a loooooong time. About two years ago, I saw this signed picture of Vicki on eBay with an inscription to someone named Lizzy... I haven't seen this pic pop up on eBay since then, so I bidded on it and won. :D

Vicki had to be at least 19/20 in this picture, so my best guess is that it is circa 1968/1969 sometime. These pics of Vicki are REALLY hard to come by because she was so young and so new to show biz then (she started right out of HS when she was 18). I know the handwriting is DEFINITELY hers because I have seen her other autographs from that time period and it is the way she wrote back then.
