Yes, that was Ralph Probst. I believe his wife had fallen asleep in the living room watching the Academy Awards when she awoke to a pop and saw a puff of smoke in the kitchen and saw him dead on the kitchen floor. They speculate in the segment it could have been a hit ordered by organized crime members however I found this article that mentions other people who may have been responsible:
