This is the only time I took the time to watch DS since it began on BET. I haven't seen these episodes in so long but I wanted to see them and see how it played out.

I watched it this afternoon. I am rewatching it right now. This episode is creepy. It was brilliantly done though. The storyline, the dialogue, the acting and Mr. Horton's strategy were all superb.

People like Mr. Horton are pretty dumb to think that all their prey will keep their mouths shut. He was smart withh the way he lured the boys into a trap. The downside is trusting that all kids will keep their mouths shut. You must really be hard up if you are showing kids naked pics at some waterhole and letting them see porno magazine, x-rated cartoons and having them horseyride on your back? When Arnold declined, I would have been afraid if I was Mr. Horton that he would have spilled the beans but people like Mr. Horton are selfish and don't see the big picture.

I give a thumbs up to the late Gordon Jump for his performance. :)

No one would have known had Arnold not been caught with the wine on his breath. It wasn't like Arnold and Dudley were eager to tell someone they were drinking wine, watching dirty cartoons or posing for pics.

To me Irene, not all kids are trustworthy. Mr. Horton left some holes for sure. Mr. Drummond would have not caught Arnold at the step if he would have faked needing to go to the bathroom. He would have been out of the line of fire.

Good thing not all kids are trustworthy. The times they open up abt something can save their life. ;)

Arnold seemed to be defending the fact abt drinking wine to Kimberly and Willis. Dudley sure liked the dirty cartoons.

Gordon Jump played the part very well in that he accurately portrayed how these perverts really are. They are friendly, they look like nice people, they don't stick out like a sore thumb, they can be ANYONE.

Don't I know it. Its awful. Chidren wear their emotions on their sleeve and then you have these supposedly trustworthy folk that make the kids their prey.
