I have low self esteem

I don't feel very successful in life

I can't give her the things I want

I don't feel financially secure

I feel like I'm wasting her time

I feel I lack the communication skills to ease the pressure of the marriage

Gary barely figured out those things abt himself? We have been seeing those problems for years.

He also has no friends, no family, no life, no money and he has health issues. Very bitter man. He is his own worst enemy.

:clap Once again, Irene has hit the nail on the head. What an unpleasant fellow he is. I couldn't have put it better myself.

It also is not far-fetched that he happened to hook-up with someone who has almost the same issues. Misery loves company. I feel bad for her because she obviously had no idea what mess she was getting into.

God Bless him. If it weren't for him, who would be? Todd obviously is his friend because he worked with him and he had his own issues. So Todd knows what it feels like to be down on one's luck and so forth.

I am hoping that they can work things out,

Well, part two is airing right now on a MY TV affiliate right now. (WWOR 9) and the judge is giving them assignments rights now.

Personally, I think that Gary is doing some good by letting out these issues and facing them like a man. I am glad that he and his wife are trying to work things out.

VH1 had a field day with that on their show "best day ever". When Gary was listing his faults, the editors made it look like Judge Toler was writing "Whachoo talkin' 'bout Willis?" all over her legal pad. It looked a little scary!

I am glad about that. They're in it now so I hope that they can make it work. There is a chance that there will be an update with these two in about six months.

Gary and his wife should have taken this to a private marriage counselor. It is obvious they need the money to have brought their dirty laundry to a tv show and air it all out for everyone to see. I don't watch Divorce Court but I can imagine how it must have been for Gary and his wife to be on there. If working this marriage out is their goal, then I applaud them, but I just have a hard time understanding why they felt the need to do it publicly. This is the very reason no one takes Gary seriously and why he gets ridiculed.

This is funny because I am rewatching this right now just as you are posting and I was rewatching DS today as you were posting about "The Bicycle Man".
I felt kinda bad for Gary. They had some problems.

So in conclusion, did they get a divorce or what?

ThomasE
05-02-2008, 09:24 PM
No Brian. They were going for counseling. That's all. I was never expecting divorce. They were trying to iron some things out.

Mr. Television
05-02-2008, 09:37 PM
why would you go for counseling from a tv judge?

ThomasE
05-02-2008, 09:40 PM
Don't know. I just hope that the marriage strengthens.

They should have went to Judge Judy. She would have told them what was wrong with them.
