For those of you recording every airing on BET or wanting to watch every single episode, this is an important alert!

BET is now airing four episodes a day rather than two episodes with an encore! So you'll need to watch or tape/DVR both 9-10am and 3-4pm now. It started yesterday and we didn't get the notice until after 5PM, so we couldn't alert you in time. So here is the episode schedule reflecting this change that started yesterday:

So, if you watched/taped the last marathon you didn't have to worry about the first afternoon episodes since it aired in the marathon...but #508 ("Memories") was all-new to BET. I missed that one also because of this.

Also, starting this week BET will add Saturday airings. More info will come on the blog (http://www.sitcomsonline.com/blog) later today, along with more DS info, but here is a sneak peek for this Saturday:

Four episodes a day (Mon-Sat) continues until further notice.

While this is good because it'll get through the series much faster, I also got screwed over with the episode "Memories". I just hope the channel guide adjusts itself to show the new change, cause right now, it's still showing the encore airings for 3 and 3:30 PM (and still showing today's airings as "The Older Woman" and "Memories").

BET should really announce these changes in advance, rather than just do a last minute change like that. Leave the last minute changes to Nick at Nite...

Oh, Solomon. Why are getting so mad about? Frustration is perfectly normal but at least we are getting more airings. :cool: I am definitely watching "Bicycle Man" this afternoon.

Missed "santas helper" of course! my guide wasn't updated and still isn't....why can't these channels at least wait till a monday to make changes....it's so silly.....you can't even keep up with TV land schedules (but of course who would want to?) I really believe TV land decides a minute before they air a show....last weekend was a total change.

They're production numbers. When you look at the episode list, it's obvious that NBC played these in whatever order they chose. Sometimes they even held episodes over to the next season.

Well, hopefully, that episode will air during the DS Memorial Day marathon. I missed that one too and was wondering why I ended up with "Push Comes to Shove" during that time slot instead yesterday morning before I went to work. This is so unfair. An injustice.

OK, this has me really furious. Since I was able to record about 95% of the episodes from when they were on Nick, TVLand, and TNN years ago on VHS (pretty decent quality), I was just recording the ones they didn't play on those channels AND my favorites onto DVD. I have been relying on TV Guide.com and this change was not reflected in their listings as of yesterday. So, I missed recording both SANTAS HELPERS (didn't have it from before) and THE BICYCLE MAN (one of my favorites) onto DVD because of this damn last second switch!

My guide information gave a different description than the one that was actually shown. Today they aired BICYCLE MAN and I just happened to put it on and see that was airing. The information stated two other episodes.

And voice your complaints about this *last-second* schedule switch. They didn't give us ANY warning and even their own website (as of Friday afternoon) did not reflect these schedule changes!

Maybe if enough of us complain, they will just start again from the beginning of season 5. Because you just know if they don't, they'll eventually pull the show BEFORE it gets around to this point in the rotation again. Then, we'll never see these missed episodes (because you also know that Sony will never release any season 3 or later episodes onto DVD).

So, please write BET!

I'm not doubting you, but are you absolutely certain these two eps are airing on Saturday? The reason I'm asking is because it's not showing up on my tv listings, I really want these two eps, so I don't want to miss them.

I suggest you read it if you want to know. Saturdays 12-1pm is the only regular airing on weekends.

yeah i noticed it comes on 4 times a day. and sometimes they have marathons on the weekends. my problem is that there are only 2 seasons on dvd and i'm running out of space on my dvr. i'm having to delete a lot of my sports and other shows cuz there are a lot of DS episodeds i don't want to delete. i haven't seen the episode when that lady having seizures scared sam and arnold since it aired back in the 80s. hopefully it's coming soon..

No problem. I know a solution to that, but not sure if you're willing to go for it. Just record those eps. either to your DVD recorder or VHS. DVD recorder is what I use to archive my programs.
