For the first time in a while The Big Bang Theory increased its ratings from last week. From CBS :

CBS's "THE BIG BANG THEORY" POSTS WEEK-TO-WEEK INCREASES IN VIEWERS AND KEY DEMOGRAPHICS :

"The Big Bang Theory" Up +9% in Viewers and +7% in Adults 18-49

THE BIG BANG THEORY (5.0/08, 8.07m) was second in adults 25-54 (3.8/10) and adults 18-49 (3.1/09). Compared to last week, BIG BANG THEORY was up +9% in households (from 4.6/07), +12% in adults 25-54 (from 3.4/09), +7% in adults 18-49 (from 2.9/08) and added +680,000 viewers (from 7.39m, +9%).

Finally! At least it's back up over 8 million again. It was really weird to me why the show kept decreasing so much the last weeks. But, last night's episode was really good, in my opinion. I think it's peculiar that this episode dealt in a way with Penny and Leonard's relationship, and ratings were up. They should really get that storyline going again . . .

I agree. I really like the Penny/Leonard relationship part of the show. Unfortunately, it will not be taking precedence next week again. It is going to be about Sheldon's sister, and the guys lust after her.

Seriously, this show seems to be all about Sheldon all the time. Almost every episode is centered around him. I'd love to see a story about Penny . . . we haven't gotten many of those at all.

The final ratings are in (see above in first post), and it was really good news. The show stayed over 8 million viewers, and picked up .1 in the 18-49 demo for a 3.1. Good ratings week. Let's hope it keeps up.

I just hope Chuck Lorre doesn't end the season with a cliffhanger, lol, not after this year's writer's strike! There has only been one episode beside any revolving around Sheldon since the show's return that aired last night. I'd love another Leonard and Penny story in the next few final episodes of the season and definately another Wolowitz story like in the Dumpling Paradox.
