kirk's autobiography Still Growing is out now, and I really enjoyed reading it. It tells how he felt being a child star and how awkward and difficult it was for him. Kirk is really very funny and very honest, the book covers his childhood through his life today- not in any great detail mind you but interesting. his wife tells sections of thier marriage story. And yes he explains what happened on the growing pains set and about Julie -whats -her -name. after reading the book maybe some of you will see kirk with a little more sympathy. you can find the book at amazon
and to find out more detail about kirk's family life- read his moms book a Full House of Growing Pains- she gives a lot more detail as to the family drama. Also at amazon

You mean Julie McCullough?

Is this "what's-her-name" thing intentional?

Here she is, one of the most beautiful girls of the 80's: :eyes:

I just read this book as well and I really was pleasantly surprised...

The best part, in my opinion, was the account of Kirk and Michael J. Fox having a competition between the two of them to see who could do the most 360 turns on camera and get them aired on their respective episodes.

I love autobiographies so this one should be great. I used to be a huge fan of Kirk Cameron in the late 80's. And I agree 100%... Julie is beautiful!

I really enjoyed this book. Barbara Cameron's book is very good, too - it's time for Candace to write one!! :D
