...I still find the show really funny. Nell and Addy just moved into their new apartment in New York. I have read how many find the show to be hard to watch as the girls left and the premise and cast were transformed. I also have a special place in my heart for the later years as I grew up watching the show in reruns. But the show is still very funny.

Yes, you're right. My mistake. I was watching the tale end of Season 5 and then watched the first few episodes of Season 6 in a row. Anyhow, I'm still loving the show. It's still really funny. I love the new setting. I just wish they had brought back the other girls for an appearance. I think Sam comes back for a couple of episodes but I haven't watched those yet. Can't wait. :)

Nell and Addy made a good comedy team.

How funny was this episode? I'm talking about the part out on the fire escape when Maggie comes down to help Nell but she's afraid of heights. I remember seeing it when I was growing up but I hadn't seen it since. Great episode! :)

I got the remaining seasons from a private video collector who recorded them from the WB. It aired on that channel somewhere I guess. Quality isn't perfect but I've been able to watch the episodes from season to season without waiting for VEI to continue releasing them. It's great! :)

Even though most of the magic was gone by the time of season five, there is one episode from this season that I have "very" fond memories of! One thing that I mentioned in my two most recent posts on this site is how much I like females who carry pretty purses. Even though Katie clearly had the nicest collection of purses on the show, Julie also had some that did a "great" job of complementing her dress and her figure! In any event, this episode began with Nell reading in the paper about a sale downtown and being "very" anxious to start shopping! The problem was that Julie, who would normally be happy to accompany Nell on such an excursion already had plans to go to the movies with her husband Jonothan. Nell who wanted to hear nothing about alternate plans made by Julie said "come on Julie, get you purse! Let's go!" The thought of a "lovely" girls like Julie with a pretty purse over her shoulder "really" made me salivate! In addition to this, I would say that, just like wearing makeup and carrying a purse, having a "shop till you drop" mentality is another thing about a girl's attitude that makes her different from a boy and attractive to him. If the two of them had gone through with this endvior, I would have visions of them taking turns holding the purses while each other tries on shows or goes into the dressing room. The thought of this type of female bonding is one more thing that "really" fills me up!

As a kid, I loved season six. I had just come back from New York after living with my grandmother for 2 months and then when I started watching GAB, I really thought that the show was taped there and wanted to be there because I thought I would get to meet Joey Lawrence. He was one of my childhood heroes. LOL. Now that I think about it, maybe it was possible that the Central Park segments were filmed while I was actually in NYC during the summer of 1986? Could be...LOL.
