Let's state some of our favorite Mary fashions!

Tough call - I LOVE the outfits Mary and Rhoda wore. It's so cool that a lot of the stuff they wore back in the 70s is in style again. I can't decide on any one outfit!

I loved all of Mary's belts!

I love the one outfit that she wears for one episode in the first scene of the episode where Ted's brother visits, with the blue turtleneck and the plaid skirt! I also love the one that was bright pinkish with the white down the middle, then spreads around her waist. But, maybe my very favorite, is the one that she wears in the episode, "What Is Mary Richards Really Like?" when she is trying to figure out what to wear, and it's the first one, with the orange, that she asks Rhoda if it's "too sexy" and Rhoda replies, "there is no such thing as too sexy". And she doesn't wear it and I've never seen it again!

i'll have to go back sometime and scope out some of mary's outfits (not bad duty at all), but i seem to remember one jaw-dropper that was black and sheer at the top, maybe with some sparkle, and either a scoop neck or sleeveless and then full length at the bottom
i think rhoda commented on it, too, but it isn't the same one lauranamesake is citing

if it's possible/not too much trouble, maybe one of you gals who knows how to do screengrabs can post a few of the better mary/rhoda/phyllis outfits!

My favorite is the last dress, the black one, in the 5-minute dress episode!

I love that dress! I wouldn't mind wearing it myself. I'm the same height and build as MTM, so I could pull it off. :lol:

OMG! i didn't exactly nail the specifics (i think i was combining two outfits into one), but THAT'S THE DRESS!!!!
i'd have to say that's my favorite

I liked these 3 outfits that Mary wore. She had some of the nicest clothes and always looked so stylish.

I gotta say, ANYTHING looks great on Mary. I also liked it when she wore her hair up.

Mary looked GOOD in pants. Those white pants she wore were excellent.

I am sure Richard Meeker, Grant Tinker, the Jewish doctor and maybe Dick Van Dyke enjoyed boinking MTM.

LOL -- Why not toss in Jerry Van Dyke, Paul Sand, Ted Bessell, Gavin, Ted, Ed, and every other male actor she's worked with...? :)

I adore that long healthy flip she had in seasons 1&2. Wished she stuck with that hairdo for all 7 seasons. Hated that shorter thin hair from the later years especially that Dorothy Hamill look.
